How to Draw a Duck with felt-tip pens

Now let's try to draw something more complicated. Take a felt-tip pen, but you have to be careful because you can't erase it from the paper. This example will be interesting for older children. Although it is possible to simplify the task by drawing an outline with a pencil first, and then tracing it with a felt-tip pen.

Here's how we do it, draw together with us:

• Let's start by drawing the head. We begin to draw a circle, but with zigzag lines on the bottom and top for plumage. On the right side we make an arc.
• From her draw a beak. Lead the line down and make it rounded up. Think about how to place the beak and draw a line down, connect it to the bottom and form the top of the beak. Highlight the nostrils.

We take a simple pencil and draw:

• Fix the center of the future drawing. Draw an oval torso, and above it another circle - the head. Next to it we draw the outline of a beak. Lines combine head with body.
• Moving on to detail. Accurate lines trace the outline of the duck, make plumage on the tail. Do not forget that the chest of a bird should be convex, the back should not be flat, and the neck is too straight. You can add details to the surroundings, like grass or flowers.
• Move on to drawing the wing, it can go slightly beyond the borders of the duck, so it will look more realistic. Add a beak and eye.
• Detail the eye. Now begins the most interesting part. Eye need to fill so that it was a dark and bright. Shading the circle and make its elongated shape, tracing the corners. Next, you need to trace feathers on the body of fine strokes, on the wings and tail.

How to draw a duck with watercolors

Before proceeding to the use of watercolor we need a pencil sketch, it is not necessary to draw everything in detail, the main thing is that it would be easy to navigate it.

Consider how to draw a duck in watercolor step by step:

• Prepare the paint. Dilute green paint with a small amount of black. Use it for painting the duck's neck and head. • Apply paint to the beak. First we use a diluted yellow, and then a regular yellow paint, or darker, you need to draw the shadows.
• Now water. We dip the brush in water and make circular motions around the duck, then take the brush with blue paint and repeat the motion. Under the duck, we put a couple of strokes of darker color and slightly shaded, to indicate the shadow.
• If desired, you can add realism to the picture and draw a reflection of a bird on the surface of the water. Use the same colors as for the body of the duck. Here it is necessary to try very hard and accurately draw the shadow, so that it does not go beyond the contour of the duck. Under the bird, the paint is darker, and then it becomes lighter.
