How to make a handcraft penguin out of plastic bottles, paper, fabric material

Penguins from plastic bottles and paint

To create models, we will need the following set:

• Plastic bottles of small volume (0.33 or 0.5 liters).
• Paint and brushes.
• Primer.
• Clear varnish.

Step by step instructions:

1. Clean the bottles from their packaging. Cut off the bottoms of four bottles.
2. From another four pieces cut a little more - to form the body we need about 2/3 of the bottle.
3. Glue the edge of one part and insert it into the other.
4. We coat the workpiece with primer.
5. We take acrylic paint and after our base has dried, we cover the models in white.
6. Allow the piece to dry.
7. On one side of the product draw a line bounding the penguin's abdomen (you can find a template on the Internet). When drawing, use a black marker.
8. Next, either with a marker or black paint draw the body - the entire surface of the bottle, except for the abdomen.
9. Draw the penguin's beak and legs with red paint. Draw the eyes.
10. Cap can be made as you want. The main thing is to make it bright and beautiful.

Our penguins are ready. Now you can place them on a base and show your guests during friendly tea parties.

1. Let's take a sheet of black paper.

To work we will need:

• Plasticine.
• A knife for working with clay.
• A board-base for applications.
• Several cardboard boxes of different sizes.

Step by step instructions:

1. Prepare the basis-torso. To do this, connect the two boxes: the larger will be the basis for the body. Smaller box will serve as the head. On top of the boxes is very convenient to put a layer of black plasticine.
2. Now we will take care of the breast of our bird. Roll up a flagellum of white material, and then flatten it on a board. Now cut a rectangular shape with a knife. Attach the apron to the torso.
3. We make the eyes: prepare circles of white material, over which we attach the black circles of pupils.
4. Beak also cut with a knife and attach it to the muzzle of our penguin.
5. Also do the same with the paws.
6. Penguin ready, but our goal - to create an application. Therefore, we add two or three more birds to the base-stand. Create them funny hats of plasticine. Painting for applique can mold the figures of other animals or birds on the site.

And again we return to the invariable material-basis - an ordinary plastic bottle.

In fact, the shape of the blank allows you to experiment in many ways to create models of the penguin.

So, what we need for work:

• Plastic bottles.
• Glue.
• Acrylic paint and brushes.
• Cloth (preferably felt with shiny flecks).
• Scissors.
• Toy cap with a pompom.

Step by step diagram instructions for the master:

1. From two bottles we cut out blanks: from one bottle we cut off the bottom, from the other bottle we separate the top with the neck.
2. Coat the edge of one piece with glue and insert it into the second.
3. Treat the base with primer, and after it dries, start painting.
4. Use a black marker to trace the border of the belly. Inside the bounding line, paint our handicraft with white acrylic paint. Penguin legs, which plays the role of the bottom of the lower bottle, painted in red or orange.
5. Now we make a blank of felt. You can find templates on the internet, or you can make them yourself. In any case, the choice is yours.
6. Two half circles of black felt we will glue around the border of the penguin breast.
7. When joining the parts we use either heat-resistant glue or a glue gun.
8. From the black fabric we cut two wings and also glue them to the base bottle.
9. Use red fabric to make a cap and glue it to the top piece.
10. To form the eyes, you can use ready-made plastic eyes for dolls and stuffed animals.
11. The final step is to sprinkle the product with sequins (if you have not taken the felt with the addition of sequins).

Surprisingly beautiful and bright penguin is ready.

For each master there is his favorite way of making crafts: plasticine, prefabricated crafts from bottles and other materials, fabric products. And the choice of form is left to the author: applique, a hanging toy or cardboard bookmark figures.
