An unusual house made from cuttings

For the construction of this house, you will need experience with wooden products and the ability to handle tools.

The house is assembled according to the type of log houses.

We will prepare:

  • several wooden cuttings;
  • a small piece of chipboard;
  • Shish kebab skewers or sushi sticks;
  • Drill, jigsaw, chisel;
  • varnish for finishing.

Workflow:

  1. Saw the cuttings into bars of equal length according to the size of the house.
  2. Tape the sticks together, measure 3 cm from the edge, and drill a hole in the center. It must be larger in diameter than the wooden sticks.
  3. On each "log" in the area of the hole with a chisel cut semicircular notches for better bonding of parts with each other.
  4. Assemble the "log house" of the future house, combining the holes. In them hammer wooden rods.
  5. To make the roof from a sheet of chipboard saw two rectangles and nail them with small nails.
  6. Use a jigsaw to make the chipboard pieces for the ridge, shutters, door and overhang. Glue these parts to the handicraft.
  7. Set the house on a solid base.
  8. From thin sawtooths, obtained from the remaining cuttings, we make a path to the house.
  9. Decorate the composition of your choice and varnish it.

Doll's house made of twigs

Surely there are still children whose grandmothers live in the village in log houses. And how nice for a child to have such a house to play with their favorite characters and remember the countryside.

  • twigs of different sizes;
  • moss;

We begin to make a house:

  1. From cardboard we cut out parts of the house and glue them with hot glue.
  2. For stability of the handicraft glue the corners of the house with painter's tape.
  3. With scissors cut through the windows and doors.
  4. Begin gluing the walls of the house with thin twigs, cutting the required length with secateurs.
  5. To make the roof bend a measured sheet of cardboard and glue with a glue gun.
  6. To make a pipe on the roof, cut off a small part of a thick branch and use glue to attach it between the roof branches.
  7. Make a door. To do this, use secateurs to cut the branches in half lengthwise and glue them to a rectangle of cardboard. Glue the door into the doorway.
  8. Glue the curtains made of fabric scraps to the windows from the inside.
  9. Place the craft on a base decorated with moss.
  10. From thick branches make a ladder and attach it to the house.
  11. In the yard of the house we hang laundry.

Glue two thick twigs to the base, pull a thread between them and with decorative mini-pins distribute scraps of fabric on it.

To give this composition a New Year tone, you can on the roof of the house and on top of the moss to place pieces of absorbent cotton imitating snow, and in the yard to fix a Christmas tree branch. Suspended on it beads will look like Christmas toys.

House where the gnome lives

Similarly, you can construct a house out of almost any natural material. Even a stump left in the country after a cut tree, you can adapt under the dwelling of the gnome.

  1. With the help of locksmith's tools in a stump we hollow out a window and a doorway, remove its inner part.
  2. From unnecessary wooden materials we make simple furniture. It can be a table with chairs and a chest in which you can put colored stones or beads.
  3. Decorate the window with colored curtains.
  4. Place an LED candle on the table.
  5. Cover the house with a roof.
  6. Attach a ladder to the door, made from improvised materials. On it we put the figure of the dwarf.
