Creative handicrafts - a selection of interesting master classes with examples of photos and ideas

Everyone loves to receive gifts in the form of exclusive handmade things. But not everyone knows that they can easily make a lot of creative handicrafts themselves, without spending a lot of time. In this article, we will look at some easy crafts for the home.

There are many ideas for homemade crafts, but not all of them can be brought to life. Some require certain skills and abilities, others require expensive materials that not everyone can afford. But there are also such handicrafts, which everyone can repeat, even if he has not got a hand. Here are some of them:

Rug from wine corks

Even a child can make such a rug. You can make a large rug for children to play while sitting on it. For the rug we will need:

  • A base for the mat. You can use a piece of linoleum or laminate.
  • Wine corks
  • Hot glue
  • A hot glue gun
  • Desk knife
  • Scissors

Creation:

Take all the corks that you can get and cut them in half lengthwise. It is necessary to cut them in equal parts, otherwise the mat will be uneven and bumpy. You should put all the cut corks in rows to form a square. Decide on the shape and size of the rectangle. This will be your future rug.

Now you need to cut a piece of linoleum or laminate, at your discretion. This will be the base on which we will glue our cork. The shape of the rectangle from the corks and the shape of the base should coincide.

Now you can glue the cork halves. Glue them to the base with the cut side down. Try to glue the corks tightly together so that there is no gap between them.

The mat is ready. You can put it in the bathroom to massage your feet after a bath, or in the hallway under the door. It looks very original!

ottoman from plastic bottles

Such a poufik turns out very beautiful and lightweight.

You will need:

  • Plastic bottles
  • Scotch tape
  • Plywood
  • Foam
  • Material
  • Scissors
  • Thread and needle

Making:

Prepare 37 plastic bottles. They all have to be the same height and width. Preferably, these bottles should come from the same drink from the same company. Arrange the bottles so that they form a circle. They should stand close together. Then wrap the tape around the circle. The base for the pouffe is ready.

Next, take plywood and cut two circles equal in diameter to the base of the bottles. Place these circles at the top and bottom of the bottles. Glue with thermal adhesive or other glue. For example, "Moment".

Cut out the same circle from the foam rubber as you did from the plywood. Also cut a strip of width equal to the height of the cans and length equal to the perimeter of the future pouffiz. With these pieces of foam rubber we will wrap our base from plastic bottles and plywood. Now you can glue the foam rubber to the poufik, wrapping it from the sides and top. These pieces should then be sewn together around the edges so that they do not slip off the bottles.

Now you can safely sew a material cover on our poufik. To do this, you need to measure the area of the circle at the top and bottom. Cut them out of the fabric. Do the same with the width of our craft. Cut and sew the patterns together. Put the sewn cover on our interesting and unusual poufik. You can put it at home in your living room and admire your new product or set it in a gazebo in the garden.

Soft toys from a sock

If you include imagination, even a sock can make a cute children's toy.

We need:

  • Sock
  • Thread
  • Needle
  • Wool or synthetic cotton
  • Scissors
  • Beads or buttons

Sock should be stuffed with cotton or synthetic material to the heel. Tie that place with a thread. You get something like a pear. Cut the rest of the sock, you will need it for the hat. Pear should be divided into two parts, one larger than the other. This will be the head and the torso.

From the beads or buttons you can make eyes and draw a smiling mouth. From the remainder of the sock you can sew a hat, tightening the thread cut side and turning it inside out. Wear a hat on his head. Ready to make our new creature - a snowman!

Such crafts can do with a child. Thus you will attach your child to new ideas and awaken an interest in this kind of crafts. You can make crafts from paper. Presents many step-by-step photos and master classes on how to make beautiful products from different materials.

Steaming cup with coffee beans

These cups are very popular. You can safely give them as a souvenir to decorate desks or shelves in rooms.

We will need:

  • A tea cup.
  • An old aluminum fork.
  • Hot glue
  • Metal weight
  • Saucer
  • Coffee beans

Place the saucer and bend the fork at the base so that it rests completely on the saucer. Then bend the top of the fork as well, so that it touches the inside wall of the cup. Now glue the fork with one end to the saucer and the other end to the inside wall of the cup. Pour enough glue so that it covers the fork well on the plate. Now you need to press the fork on the plate with a weight so that the whole structure will stand flat and will not collapse.

Then take the coffee beans and glue them to the fork from all sides and along the entire length. Inside the cup you also need to pour the beans and glue them, imitating the falling out of the coffee. Do the same on the plate. Try to cover the fork and the load on the plate. The handle of the fork should not be visible either.

You should not leave gaps during gluing. If this does happen, such flaws can be painted over with dark brown paint.

Coffee table out of old tires

A great coffee table can be constructed from worn-out tires that are unusable.

We need:

  • Two old tires.
  • Glass

You need to take two tires and carefully paint the outside of them in a color you like. White, yellow or green is the most suitable in this case. Then put them on top of each other.

Now take a piece of glass and cut out a circle 10-15 centimeters wider in diameter than the tires. Grind the edges of the glass, so as not to cut accidentally.

It will be better if you carefully glue the edges or paint them with the same paint as the tires.

If you paint, make sure it's done evenly and aesthetically pleasing.

Now put the finished glass on top of the tires. The coffee table is ready. You can put it on the terrace in your garden. Such a table will give a wonderful spring mood.
