Old car tires become a headache for almost any motorist and car repair shops. It is not recommended to throw them away at the usual landfill, and it is often too expensive to take them and hand them in somewhere. However, tires can be given a second life in the garden, in the garage and even in the apartment.

This material provides a huge field for your imagination and a lot of options for decorating your site.

You can start your creativity with the simplest items or go straight to the most complicated ones. All the more so that both are quite simple in the manufacture.

Flowerbeds

The easiest idea would be to create a flowerbed. Even a small child can cope with such work. To decorate such an element of garden decor, you will need tires, exterior paints (to save money, you can buy white paint and colored tints for it), brushes.

Tire painted in solid colors or stripes, draw flowers or patterns on it. Such flowerbeds can be scattered throughout the site or place in one place, creating a beautiful decoration of the fence or walkway.

An unusual seven-flower bed can be made from half tires. These halves are laid in the form of a large flower, the center can be decorated with another tire.

Vertical and hanging flowerbeds from the tires beautifully decorate trees, the walls of houses or gazebos.

Using a sharp knife from the tires cut unusual cachepots or cups with saucers, filling them with flowering plants.

Pathways

Beautiful paths and curbs to them will complement the garden plot. For this purpose, the tires are dug into the ground, fill the empty space with sand or stones, on the sides digging colorful tire halves.

Decorative well

You can easily create an unusual well by putting three tires one on top of the other. They can simply be painted a bright color or covered with masonry. Mayonnaise or paint bucket can represent a bucket for water. And for stability it can be screwed with the same self-tapping screw. Small ampelous plants will beautifully decorate the resulting well or bucket.

Furniture from old tires

Using car tires can help create pretty garden furniture.

To create a cute pouffe, you will need a tire or two (depending on the desired height), plywood (or board), fabric, foam rubber.

First, you should cut out a circle of plywood to the diameter of the tire and screw it with self-tapping screws to the base of the future interior object. Place a circle of foam rubber on the plywood and cover the ottoman with fabric, stitching the edges of the material at the bottom of the craft. The folds are beautifully straightened. Impermeable fabric will allow you to place such a piece of furniture in an open space and use it as a place to rest after weeding beds or other agricultural work. The ottoman with ordinary fabric is better hidden under a canopy.

If you want to make mobile furniture, then to the bottom of the tire bolt a circle of plywood, on which the wheels are installed.

A nautical corner will elegantly decorate a pouffe from the tire, decorated with a rope instead of fabric. To do this, the entire workpiece is thoroughly coated with glue and tightly lay the rope in a spiral, leaving no space between the coils.

If you do not screw on the plywood, but make the top of the pouffe removable, then there will be another place in the house for storing rarely used things.

Putting two or three tires together and covering them with a seat made of board and foam rubber, you get a nice sofa, and its back and sides are tires mounted vertically.

A good addition to the pouffe would be a coffee table, created from two tires. They are also decorated with fabric or canals, and the top of the table is covered with glass, plywood or board. The wood can be covered with varnish or stain, giving a beautiful and unusual appearance. And if glass is used, place shells, decorative leaves or gracefully place a vine on the top rail.

Similar furniture can be installed and on the balcony, creating a nice corner of rest in the fresh air. Relatively fresh, of course.

Children's corner

Pretty playground will help to create a swing, a sandpit or an unusual path.

Manufacturing will not be too difficult even for those who have never created with their own hands. To create a walkway, simply lay the tires in two rows slightly diagonally, so that each tire fills the space between its two sisters. The path can be painted or left in black.

If you bury the tire halves, you will get a vertical path.

To create a swing, you will need a tire and a thick rope. Tie the rope in four places, on the tire secure a piece of plywood, cut to fit the diameter of the tire. The finished product is painted or covered with waterproof fabric or leather.

It remains only to hang the finished swing and invite the child to test the craft. To make it safer for your baby, the sides and back can be braided with the same rope, creating an interesting seat.

A rocking chair made from half a tire and a piece of board would not be a bad option for entertaining your child.

And the whole tire, firmly attached to a tall tree, will be used as a bungee cord.

For a very young child you can make a sandbox, for it will need a larger tire, and for older children you can fence such a place for walking out of the buried halves of tires, painted in the most incredible colors. You can also install the tires in the four corners and connect them with planks, resulting in a bench, which can be decorated with toys or plants in pots. The tires themselves can be used as additional beds. Such an idea allows you to create a children's recreation corner surrounded by beautiful flowers.

A funny racing car can be made using only three tires and an old seat. To do this, two wheels are installed on the sides of the seat, and the third in front, attaching the steering wheel to it. Small sides made of planks complete the creation of your own car.

On the playground you can place any animal made from tires (donkey, horse, ladybugs, elephant) or create a whole zoo.

A small pond

The photo of a nice pond will not leave indifferent any owner of a garden plot. And to make it will help a large car tire. In order to create such a reservoir, it is enough to bury the tire in the ground, cover with thick polyethylene (but really thick), pour the water.

To give the pond a natural look, the edges of the pond are masked with stones, sedge, decorative grasses.
