Shaping the bud

The French technique of making roses from beads implies the first step is to shape the bud. Details for the petals are created by the scheme of parallel weaving:

In the first step, a bead is placed on the wire and moved toward the middle. Subsequent rows will include 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11 beads each. Then a number of beads equal to the number of rows is strung on the ends on opposite sides.

The branches and leaves are created from floral tape, beads, tape and 0.3 mm wire. Each leaf consists of five parts. Each of the materials is made in the form of a rhombus by the method of parallel weaving. It is important to stick to the scheme, where the first row consists of one bead, and the wide row consists of five.

Creating rose petals with plasticine

Assembling the flower

Leaves and twigs

Assembling the flower
